Notice of Shipment

The following shipment is for personal use only. If import license is needed for custom clearance, please inform our custom broker team in advance.

Foods 1. Maximum weight per shipment: 10 lbs; Maximum value per shipment : 1000USD.
2. Fill in the detail of brand and contents of the shipments on
    the invoice/packing list in detail.
3. Products must be sealed without opening.
4. It must be a legal produced products, bearing the label of the
    manufacturer brand and ingredients.
5. It must not be repacked or self-manufactured products.
6. The receiver shall provide the following documents for the
    Customs Brokerage Department of SPEX for customs
    clearance.
    a)  Photocopies of the front and back sides of the ID card.
    b)  An appointment letter

  • Parcel containing foods and healthcare products from USA, SPEX’s Customs Brokerage Department will contact consignee to obtain required documents. To avoid mistaking the call as a fraud, we suggest shipper must inform consignee in prior notice. Or notify consignee to send the aforementioned documents by fax or e-mail to the Customs Brokerage Department of SPEX.

Daily Supplement 1. Attach a photocopy of the purchase receipt to the shipment.
2. For personal use only. Each shipment is limited to 10 pounds or 36 bottles/units in total and not exceeds 12 bottles/units on single product.
3. Fill in the detail of the brand, content, quantity of pills or weight
    on the invoice/packing list in full detail.
4. It must be packed in the original packing.
5. It must be a legally produced product bearing the label of the
    manufacturer brand and ingredients.
6. The label must bear the word of “Daily Supplement”, SPEX
    will not accept any items without labeling as “Daily
    Supplement”. In addition, SPEX will not accept the shipment
    with the label showing “Drug”.
7. Consignee shall provide the following documents for the
    Customs Brokerage Department for customs clearance.
    a)  Photocopies of the front and back sides of the ID card
    b)  Power of Attorney Letter

Customs Declaration
  • SPEX reserves the right to reject any shipment order for carrying substances that may affect aviation security, hazardous substances, or restricted items, or, parcel exceeding the weight and dimension requirements.

    *** SPEX has the right to inspect any package that might content prohibited goods. If the package is rejected by SPEX and returned to the shipper, the shipper will be responsible for any loss this may cause. ***

  • If consignee is an individual, customs of the importer’s country may require consignee to provide identification documents. If consignee fails to provide require documentations, the customs may confiscate or return the pacakge, and may incur additional cost.
  • Please fill in the invoice/packing list with honesty. The Customs reserves the right to adjust the declared value of the parcel and the amount for declaration shall be determined by the customs. If a false account is given in the declaration, the parcel may be seized by the customs and additional cost will be incurred (fee for return, customs penalty, and so forth). The bearer of the parcel shall assume full responsibility of the fine and legal consequences.

*You are strongly advised to declare the content, quantity and value of the parcel accurately. Do not attempt to evade tax and give customs false information. Article 37: If any of the following is applicable, penalty will be given ranging from 200% to 500% of the amount of evaded tax, or the confiscation of the object or both depending on the severity of offense:
       1. Fraudulent declaration of the name, quantity or weight of the goods.
       2. Fraudulent declaration of the quality, value or specification of the goods.
       3. Presentation of forged, modified, or fabricated invoice or documents.
       4. Any other act of offense.
If any of the aforementioned situations is applicable to export goods, a fine of up to NT$1 million and confiscation of the goods will be imposed.
If any of the aforementioned 2 situations is applicable and allegation of evasion of legal liability, a penalty will be imposed as stated in I and III.
If any of the situations as stated in I is applicable to export goods, a fine ranging from 200% to 500% of the amount of write-off tax will be imposed with the confiscation of the goods in point I.

Article 38: Letters or parcels for mail delivery containing taxation goods or controlled substances without specifying on the outside of the packing on the quality, quantity, weight, and value of the goods or items, and with no information on the detail shall be deemed smuggling or tax evasion. Once uncovered, the goods or items concerned will be confiscated and the consignee or shipper will
be informed.

Other Remarks
1. Sculptures, glass items, fragile items and items classified as hazardous items by
    airlines will not be accepted for shipment. You are advised to declare truthfully to
    avoid possible dispute from the damage to the items.
2. You are advised to take insurance for the protection of your valuable items.  The
    declared value stated in the invoice/packing list shall be the amount insured.  The
    minimum insurance amount starts from US$500 with US$100 as increment. Please
    contact SPEX for more information on cargo insurance premium. Customers may
    also take insurance protection from their own insurer.
3. AES is required for export shipments if the value is more than $2,500 per
    particular product, and all shipments are required an export license from any
    government agency.  Shipper should go to https://ace.cbp.dhs.gov to finish the
    application and provide AES# to SPEX before continuing export procedure. SPEX
    may reject the shipment if shipper fails to provide AES#.

4. If the net weight or dimension weight of the parcel exceeds 50 lbs, a surcharge of
    US$10 per box will be charged. To avoid possible injury happened to the customers or
    the moving crew in the course of transport, customers are advised to pay
    attention to the weight of the parcel.
5. Shippers are advised to pack the parcel properly. In case of damage of the parcel
    caused by bumping or swaying because of improper packing, SPEX will not be
    responsible for any types of compensation.
6. SPEX provides customs clearance service at the destination port. If the importer
    (consignee) cannot provide related documents for customs clearance, either Shipper
    or consignee will be responsible for extra cost or fine from local customs.
