The dimension weight and gross weight, whichever is higher
“Dimension weight” refers to the area one shipment occupies the cabin space of the aircraft.
“Gross weight” refers to the actual weight of the item. SPEX will use the larger weight as the chargeable weight when calculating shipping cost.
Dimension weight
Parcel dimensions will be measured by inch, a distance less than 1 inch shall be counted as 1 inch. After checking the dimension weight, we will weigh the parcel in the following equation where the weight of less than 1 lb will be charged as 1 lb.
Calculation Formula:
Dimension Weight (lb) = (L*W*H) / 139
* Reference for conversion of measurement:
   1 inch = 2.54 cm
* Measure by the exterior dimensions of the
   parcel
Gross weight
The gross weight of the parcel, measure by lb.
Weight of less than 1 lb will be calculated as 1 pound.

* Reference for conversion of measurement:
   1 pound = 0.45 kg
